摘要: The aim of the present study was to examine acid-base status extra- and intracellular fluids its possible role on regulation metabolic rate Helix lucorum during prolonged estivation. For this purpose, oxygen consumption for active estivating snails determined. also examined in hemolymph tissues from acclimated at 25 °C. In addition, buffer values were determined order whether there is a change decreased significantly within 1st 10 days estivation 122.51±10 µl.g–1.h–1 25.86±5.2 µl.g–1.h–1, indicating marked decrease rate. PCO2 increased 20 13.52±0.68 mmHg 25.09±2.05 mmHg, while pH (pHe) 7.72±0.04 7.44±0.06. level bicarbonates snails, acidosis, which moderate extracellular fluids. contrast pHe, (pHi) maintained H. lucorum, pHi despite developed hypercapnia. According results presented here, it seems that timing pHe changes does not correlate with reduction lucorum.
