摘要: Sera from two blood donors, one of whom was implicated in a case post-transfusion hepatitis B, were found to be positive for anti-HBc and negative HBsAg by conventional radioimmunoassay retested after concentration (pepsin digestion polyethylene glycol precipitation). The presence occult confirmed both. These observations have implications transfusion, wider studies donors are recommended before the introduction routine screening exclusion donation.
