摘要: A DNA molecular hybridization technique employing a purified adw subtype hepatitis B virus (HBV) cloned of 3.2 kilobase pairs as probe was used to screen for the presence HBV in blood samples collected from 486 apparently healthy donors. Eighteen 104 (17.3%) surface antigen (HBsAg) carriers and 7 382 (1.8%) HBsAg-negative individuals had circulating their sera. Among seven who were positive but negative HBsAg, three antibodies against both HBsAg (anti-HBsAg) core antigen, one only anti-HBsAg, anti-hepatitis e two all above markers. The results suggest that absence otherwise may not be enough ensure lack HBV.
