摘要: Antibody to hepatitis B core antigen (anti-HBc) was measured by radioimmunoassay in 127 asymptomatic surface (HBsAg) carriers (ASC; mean age 19) who had normal serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT) levels and 16 patients with chronic (CH; 19). All CH patients, were positive for e (HBeAg) 5 ASC cases negative both HBeAg its antibody (anti-HBe), high anti-HBc titers. Anti-HBc titers 27 (56.3%) of the 48 HBeAg-positive 18 (24.3%) 74 anti-HBe-positive relatively low. Two HBeAg-positive/anti-HBc-negative. In a follow-up study 19 low or titers, abnormal ALT increased contrast, other 14 these subjects, remained unchanged and/or decreased. The serological profile HBsAg-positive/low titer are not necessarily exceptional adolescent ASC. It is suggested that associated liver damage occurs before adolescence virus infection.
