摘要: Attention has recently been paid to how REDD+ mitigation policies are integrated into other sectoral policies, particularly those dealing with climate adaptation at the national level. But there is less understanding of subnational policy and local projects able incorporate attention adaptation; therefore, we use a case study in Vietnam discuss address both concerns together levels. Through stakeholder interviews, focus groups, household surveys three provinces activities, our research sought understand if on ground acknowledge that change likely impact forests forest users; this knowledge built activities; households forested areas subject vulnerable change; activities can help or hinder needed adaptations. Our findings indicate continues be lack coordination between Vietnam, regard REDD+. Policies for forest-based level, as well site-based projects, have little needs communities, many whom already suffering from noticeable weather changes their localities, insufficient discussion could facilitate increased resilience. While were some implicit coincidental benefits most studied did not explicitly target resilience, least one case, negative livelihood impacts vulnerability documented. Key barriers integration identified, such specialization; livelihoods; inadequate support ecosystem-based adaptation.
