摘要: Abstract Background : Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is a complex disease with genetic background. The association studies (GAS) that investigated the between ALL and MTHFR C677T A1298C gene variants have produced contradictory or inconclusive results. Materials methods In order to decrease uncertainty of estimated risk effects, meticulous meta-analysis published GAS related in MTFHR susceptibility was conducted. effects were based on odds ratio (OR) allele contrast generalized (OR G ). Cumulative recursive cumulative meta-analyses also performed. Results analysis showed marginal significant for variant, overall [OR=0.91 (0.82–1.00) OR =0.89 (0.79–1.01)], Whites [OR=0.88 (0.77–0.99) =0.85 (0.73–0.99)]. variant non-significant For both variants, did not show trend as evidence accumulates indicated lack sufficient denying claiming an association. Conclusion current draw definite conclusions regarding development ALL.
