摘要: This paper presents a critical evaluation of reported attempts to produce nonherpetic skin blisters through hypnotic suggestion. Even though the majority these reports are grossly lacking in controls, experimental design, etc., and subject alternative explanations, author concludes that anomalies have been produced by suggestion some instances. Additional studies psychogenic vascular changes add credence possibility central control phenomena. It is also concluded reactions do not appear be limited only hypnotized Ss.
