摘要: In a recent study published in this journal it was claimed that the rate of publications from US-based authors human embryonic stem cell (hESC) research field slowing or even declining 2008 to 2010. It assumed is result long-term effects Bush administration’s funding policy for hESC and uncertain environment years. present study, we analyzed pool more than 1,700 original papers world-wide 2007 2011. contrast previous our results do not support hypothesis decline productivity but rather confirm nearly unchanged leading position US with respect both publication numbers impact research. Moreover, about 500 reporting involving induced pluripotent cells (hiPSCs) through 2011 found dominant as well.
