摘要: The scope of this paper is to identify dietary patterns and the relationship with menopausal status. It involved a cross-sectional study 646 women in outpatient care southern Brazil. Dietary intake was assessed by frequency questionnaire five were identified main component analysis. status classified as premenopausal, perimenopausal postmenopausal women. Five identified: fruit vegetables; Brazilian fare (rice, beans milk); snacks (cake, burgers, pizza sweetbread); health diet (fish, juice, bread vegetable soup), regional (typical food Serra Gaucha, like red meat, pasta yams). After adjusting for sociodemographic characteristics, there no significant association between patterns. Only age, education income associated that described consumption population studied identified, which are similar those indicated ideal population. findings reveal pattern menopause significantly influenced but not per se.
