摘要: BACKGROUND: Pseudomyxoma peritonei is an uncommon condition with estimated incidence of one to two per million (worldwide) year. It characterized by the peritoneal deposition mucinous tumors, most commonly appendix, and occasionally from ovary, coupled ascites. CASE PRESENTATION: We report case a 76-year-old woman who presented increased abdominal girth dyspnea for 2 weeks. She was diagnosed as pseudomyxoma peritonei. submitted right oophorectomy, omentectomy, debulking. The histology compatible tumor colorectal/appendicular origin.
