摘要: A rat ceruloplasmin cDNA clone was isolated from a liver library and identified by partial nucleotide sequence analysis. Rat mRNA levels were measured during the acute phase response to inflammation cytoplasmic dot hybridization cDNA. Regulation of synthesis appeared be at level, with concentration increasing significantly 12 h after induction inflammation, reaching maximum 350% normal 36 returning within 60 h. Using Northern blot analysis, extrahepatic gene expression observed in choroid plexus, yolk sac, placenta, testis. All these tissues are interface between, possibly involved maintaining homeostasis in, adjacent extracellular compartments. No detected RNA stomach small intestine.
