摘要: Previous studies deduced negative effects of urbanization on insect conservation from decline in species richness with increasing built-up areas. This is the first study that investigates extinction determined by using a long-time temporal data set hidden literature and museum collections. Analyses were conducted for four groups urban Rome: butterflies, coprophagous scarabaeids, non-coprophagous scarabaeids tenebrionids. A reconstruction trends 1885 to 1999 indicates impressive declines richness, differences according ecological characteristics each group. Results obtained this suggest programs should involve thorough assessment which concern benefit green spaces areas, then identification important sites appropriate measures population management.
