Endovascular treatment with coils of 149 middle cerebral artery berry aneurysms.

摘要: PURPOSE: To retrospectively evaluate the immediate and long-term clinical results, as well angiographic of occlusion middle cerebral artery (MCA) berry aneurysms with coils. MATERIALS AND METHODS: This retrospective study had institutional review board approval, informed consent was obtained. One hundred fifty-four MCA in 142 patients were intended to be treated. Complications, patient outcomes, postprocedural follow-up angiography results evaluated. RESULTS: forty-nine (96.8%) 154 (72 ruptured, 77 unruptured) occluded coils 137 (99 women 38 men; age range, 28–76 years; mean, 48 years). Thromboembolic events occurred 20 (13.4%) aneurysm perforation seven (4.7%) 149 procedures. Endovascular treatment (EVT) performed without complications for 121 (81.2%) treated aneurysms.
