摘要: The regulation of T cell activation and adhesion by CD43 (leukosialin, sialophorin) has been thought to be mainly a function the large size negative charge extracellular domain protein. In this work, we demonstrate that cytoplasmic tail is both necessary sufficient for regulatory effect on cell-cell adhesion. Expression mutant proteins in primary cells from CD43-deficient mice demonstrated antiproliferative also dependent upon tail. contrast, Ab-mediated costimulation through does not require intracellular CD43. These data primarily serves as regulator adhesion, mediated exclusively passive effects domain, but requires participation tail, perhaps interactions with cytoskeleton, or alternatively, active signaling pathways.
