摘要: Dengue virus (DENV) of the Flaviviridae family is a single positive-stranded RNA that transmitted by Aedes aegypti and albopictus mosquitoes. The objective this study was to investigate use chloroquine (CLQ) as an antiviral drug against dengue in monkeys. To analyze action vivo, nonhuman primates groups (Aotus azarai infulatus) were inoculated with subcutaneous injection virulent strain DENV-2, treated untreated CLQ. Blood hematological, viremia, serum biochemical values obtained from 16 DENV-2-inoculated, untreated; four received only CLQ one mock-infected Aotus Monkey samples (day 0-10 post-inoculation) assayed reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction Cytometric Bead Array for determination viremia inflammatory cytokines, respectively. Additionally, body temperature activity levels determined. In present work, effective on replication DENV-2 monkeys; time reduction observed compared controls. concentration tumor necrosis factor alpha interferon gamma animals had statistically significant after infection A decrease systemic liver enzyme aspartate aminotransferase (AST) also These results suggest interferes
