Implementing the Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide: Technical Report

摘要: With the release of new Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide (MEPDG), pavement design has taken a "quantum" leap forward. The current 1993 guide is solidly based on empirical interpretation results 1960 American Association State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Road Test. This report seeks to outline technical aspects MEPDG. Full detail essentially impossible impractical, since MEPDG was accompanied by eighteen volumes justification background.
