摘要: We present a dataset that assembles occurrence records of alien tetrapods (amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals) in the Iberian Peninsula, coherent biogeographically unit where introductions species have occurred for millennia. These data important potential applications ecological research management, including assessment invasion risks, formulation preventive management plans, at biological community level on species. This summarizes inventories sources taxonomy distribution Iberia comprising known locations from published literature, expert knowledge citizen science platforms. An expert-based process allowed identification unreliable (misclassification or natural dispersion native range), classification according to their status reproduction wild. Distributional was harmonized into common area unit, 10 × km Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) system (n = 6,152 cells). The year observation and/or publication were also assigned records. In total, we assembled 35,940 unique (UTM Year) 253 (6 amphibians, 16 218 13 mammals), spanning between 1912 2020. with highest number Mediterranean painted frog Discoglossus pictus 59 UTM), pond slider Trachemys scripta 471), waxbill Estrilda astrild 1,275) house mouse Mus musculus 4,043), mammals, respectively. Most recorded are Africa (33%), followed by South America (21%), Asia (19%), North (12%) Oceania (10%). Thirty-six classified IUCN as threatened range, namely 2 Critically Endangered (CR), 6 (EN), 8 Vulnerable (VU), 20 Near Threatened (NT). Species maps provided DataSet1, well R code GIS layers update them new obtained.
