The severity the ensuing withdrawal reaction assessed quantitatively scoring intensity convulsions elicited lifting mice. Several drugs suppressed when it already under way. Effective included ethanol, barbiturates and benzodiazepines. No beneficial effect followed administration phenothiazines or chlormethiazole. Unexpectedly, some mice died during phase after treatment with long-acting (barbiturates benzodiazepines) that effectively convulsions.
