摘要: Intracellular trafficking of the glucose transporter GLUT4 from storage compartments to plasma membrane is triggered in muscle and fat during body's response insulin. Clathrin involved intracellular trafficking, humans, clathrin heavy-chain isoform CHC22 highly expressed skeletal muscle. We found a role for formation insulin-responsive human adipocytes. also associated with expanded type 2 diabetic patients. Tissue-specific introduction mice, which have only pseudogene this protein, caused aberrant localization transport pathway components their muscle, as well features diabetes. Thus, CHC22-dependent constitutes species-restricted potential implications
