摘要: An X-ray scattering study was undertaken of five phosphate glasses the general formula [M11(PO3)2]n, where M11 = Zn, Cu, Mn, Ca and Mg. Their melting temperatures macroscopic densities as well curves indicate an anomalous behaviour for Mg glass. The first peak (FSP) pattern is located all except glass at 1.7 A−1 while latter its position 1.55 A−1. Hence medium-range density fluctuations order 5 A may be expected in 4.5 remaining glasses. radial electron distribution are characterized by PO coordination sphere resulting from basic PO42 building block. MeO distances exhibit a linear dependence on atomic number, with exception (MgO 1.9 A).
