摘要: Tissue engineering research is a complex process that requires investigators to focus on the relationship between their and anticipated gains in both knowledge treatment improvements. The ethical considerations arising from tissue are similarly when addressing translational progression bench bedside, field of act as moral agents at each step along pathway, early benchwork preclinical studies clinical research. This review highlights challenges stage research, by comparing issues surrounding two technologies: bioartificial pancreas engineered skeletal muscle construct. We present relevant questions consider basic science first-in-human trials. Topics level include maintaining data integrity, appropriate reporting dissemination results, ensuring designed yield results suitable for advancing principle "modest distance" animal models. key arise early-stage trials, including selection patient-subjects, disclosure uncertainty, defining success. comparison these technologies brings light many provides guidance engaged development any technology.
