摘要: Growth orientation of fluorapatite–zirconia nanopowders was investigated after mechanical activation and thermal annealing process in the range 600–1,300 °C for 1 h. Results revealed that during heating composite transition monoclinic zirconia to tetragonal form its stabilization by calcium fluoride originating from decomposition fluorapatite as well formation a solid solution occurred. The influence on growth indicated crystal preferentially accentuated (002) face direction crystallographic c-axis heat treatment. Based FE–SEM observations, experimental outcome composed both agglomerates fine particles (~33 nm) 600 °C, while sample at 1,300 demonstrated occurrence abnormal grain growth.
