摘要: Abstract Purpose To establish the frequency of IDH1 mutations and MGMT methylation in primary glioblastomas. Experimental design We screened glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) a population-based study for correlated them with clinical data. Results were detected 5 40 glioblastomas (12,5%). Primary GBM patients carrying significantly younger, mean age 41 ± 5.06 years, than wild-type IDH1, 57 ± 2,29 years, p = 0.011. The survival time all without was 19 months (5 cases) 16 months (35 cases), respectively (p > 0,05). 13 (32,5%). MGMT-promoter did not correlate overall (OS; p > 0,05). Conclusion In summary, our is first to investigate mutation status GBMs Turkish population confirmed as genetic marker also GBMs. Our data are still insufficient definite ascertainment; preliminary results suggest: shows an association younger there lack between time. Furthermore promoter had no prognostic value lower
