摘要: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect environmental contexts on alcohol norms, expectancies, and efficacy ratings. University students (n = 177) recruited via opportunity sampling completed questionnaires in either university lecture theaters or a student bar. Positive social, fun, tension reduction outcome expectancies were higher social drink refusal self lower those participants questioned bar relative theater. These differences found while controlling for between-groups variations typical consumption quantities. Although hitherto largely unexamined by research, context appears be potentially important moderator alcohol-related cognitions. Such findings require further exploration inform more effective intervention approaches have implications validity existing literature.
