摘要: The electrochemical behaviour of a series Pb−Sn alloys in 30% sulphuric acid has been studied. Potentiodynamic current transients were recorded for the respective alloys, potential range between hydrogen and oxygen evolution. These carefully studied subsequently correlated with electrochemical, complex plane impedance data. results obtained used to isolate electrode processes prevailing at various potentials determine nature protective films formed, thus elucidating mechanism passivation. Implications corrosion are discussed.
