摘要: This article comprises an up-dated review of the processes influenc- ing distribution and abundance common cuttlefish Sepia officinalis ,t he interactions between species main variables environment in which it lives its trophic, demographic behavioural ecology. The geographical cuttlefish, L., 1758 covers Mediterranean Sea waters Eastern Atlantic from southern Norway northern England to northwestern coast Africa. also Madeira Canary Is- lands (Khromov et al. 1998). dis- tribution S. hierredda Rang, 1837 eastern Central shows that these are sympatric. boundary coincides approximately with border Mauritania Senegal (16oN) limit is at Cape Blanc (21oN) (Guerra 2001).
