摘要: Spontaneous radiation-induced or radiation leukemia virus (RadLV)-induced leukemias were treated in vivo an early-to-advanced lymphomatous state by using 1,3-bis(2-chloroethyl)-1-nitrosouea (BCNU). BCNU was given at various times after the tumor induction procedure. Treatment based upon findings that RadLV-derived transplant lymphosarcoma (LSA) cured with a frequency of greater than 90% and tumor-resistant produced cure. Death from RadLV lymphomas which had been initiated newborn C57BL mice ip injection scored untreated BCNU-treated mice. At 150 days initiation, control developed extensive thymic lymphomas, whereas less tumors, reduced incidence approximately 50% increased survival time. Similar noted for (190 rad cobalt-60 gamma rays weekly X 4)-induced lymphoma-bearing Injection 10(6) living LSA cells before treatment greatly decreased load all groups but also shortened mean Challenge long-term survivors small numbers viable did not identify any host resistance to indicated procedure, whether radiation, strongly immunosuppressive.
