摘要: Jaguar attacks on humans rarely occur in the wild. When they do, are often fatal. We describe a jaguar attack three-year-old girl near her home deep remote area of Guyanese jungle. The patient had complex but, relatively, rapid transport to medical treatment facility for life-threatening injuries. child, who suffered typical jaguar-inflicted injury patterns and survived, is highlighted. review anatomy, environmental status, hunting killing behaviors, discuss optimal management, given resource-limited environment this international emergency medicine case.
