摘要: Long and uniform HA whiskers with high crystallinity, controlled morphology aspect ratio were successfully synthesized by hydrothermal homogeneous precipitation using acetamide. Compared the additive urea, which is commonly used to raise pH drive nucleation growth of crystals, acetamide has a low hydrolysis rate under required conditions. This allows better easier control, giving rise rapid at supersaturation. Whisker length width in turn determined solution conditions, including concentration Ca PO(4). Whiskers had mean 60-116 microm an 68-103 for starting solutions containing 42-84 mmolL(-1) 25-50 PO(4) fixed Ca/P 1.67. Such are favourable their improved bone bonding bioactivity, as well mechanical properties. slightly Ca-deficient Ca/P=1.60-1.65, preferred direction along c-axis. Variation did not affect constitution, crystallinity or crystal habit.
