Biofilms are the main reservoir inside water distribution systems they extremely ecologically diverse. Filamentous fungi bacteria can coexist these forming inter-kingdom biofilms. This review has goal summarizing most relevant recent reports on occurrence filamentous in along with current knowledge gaps about fungal biofilm formation.
