摘要: :  Oxytetracycline is an antibacterial agent used widely for therapy of systemic bacterial infections in farmed fish, Thailand. The pharmacokinetics oxytetracycline after intrasinus and oral administration giant tiger prawn was examined by using a rapid high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method. kinetics described two-compartment model administration. distribution half-life (T1/2α = 0.089 h) shorter than the elimination (T1/2β = 23.1 h). orally given fitted to one-compartment model. bioavailability calculated be 59.9%. time required drug absorption (TDA), defined as reach 90% maximum level, approximately 9 h. An apparent steady-state (Vss: 0.41 L/kg) found present study, which smaller fish species.
