摘要: A large survey was carried out in 2008 Europe to evaluate the efficacy of fenbendazole (FBZ), pyrantel (PYR), ivermectin (IVM) and moxidectin (MOX), i.e. major anthelmintic molecules used current practice against cyathostomins affecting horses. total 102 yards 1704 horses studied three countries: 60 988 from Italy, 22 396 UK, 20 320 Germany. The consisted Faecal Egg Count Reduction Tests (FECRTs) with a faecal egg count reduction (FECR) categorization (I) resistance present if FECR 90%. calculation data performed employing bootstrap analysis group arithmetic means. testing FBZ on 80 resulted more than 80% UK German significantly fewer 38% (p < 0.01). PYR, IVM MOX were tested yards. For PYR found 25% no significant differences between countries. encountered one Italian two (3%), not any yard country. results indicate that single and/or multiple drug equine is countries, widespread particularly for detected FBZ, IVM. Macrocylic lactones proved be most effective drugs, some evidence highest activity MOX, despite case reduced These call development implementation, among practitioners, owners managers, further plans reduce expansion resistant populations use those anthelmintics remain manner preserves their as long possible.
