摘要: Abstract The present work is a study of tin dioxide (SnO2) based thin sensitive layer dedicated to organic vapors detection at ambient temperature. SnO2 film was deposited by chemical spray pyrolysis technique. glass substrate temperature kept 400 °C, using starting solution 0.1 M (II) dichloride dihydrate (SnCl2, 2H2O). Films structural and morphological properties were characterized X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) atomic force microscope (AFM) respectively. optical characteristics studied UV-VIS spectrophotometer. XRD revealed the presence pure polycrystalline with tetragonal rutile structure. SEM AFM observations confirmed granular morphology pores in surface. prepared tested various (ethanol, methanol acetone) operating (25 °C ± 2 °C). obtained results suggested that more ethanol vapor maximum sensitivity 35% higher than acetone (1% 3%). realized sensor demonstrated fast response recovery times as values 2 s 3 s towards 47 ppm vapor.
