摘要: 1 Endogenously uncoupled mitochondria from the brown adipose tissue of cold-adapted hamsters, rats and guinea-pigs swell in KC1, KBr, KNO3 KCNS presence valinomycin. Identical rates swelling are obtained employing ammonium salts or potassium nigericin. 2 Albumin has no effect on these plus valinomycin, but is strongly inhibitory with both nigericin salts. Albumin inhibits phosphate valinomycin without phosphate. All inhibitions may be reversed by uncoupler. 3 These results interpreted terms electrogenic entry Cl-, Br-, NO3- CNS-, a high native proton permeability which abolished albumin. 4 GDP KCl KBr either nigericin. The inhibition not uncoupler. Exchange 36Cl- into out sucroseimpermeable space inhibited GDP. effectiveness different nucleotides inhibiting efflux identical to their previously observed for uncoupler-releasable respiratory albumin. 5 GDP only partially permeation demonstrable thiocyanate, acetate entry, if movements involved. Otherwise, systems, some limitation carbonyl cyanide p-trifluoromethoxyphenylhydrazone. 6 The sodium appears electroneutral exchange affected albumin nucleotide. 7 The use ion properties as tool investigate relationship between membrane structure energy conservation discussed.
