摘要: Abstract Sucrose isolated brown adipose tissue mitochondria are uncoupled. They contain between 120–150 nEq of free fatty acids per mg protein. The removal by means carnitine plus ATP a minor fraction these bound FFA transfers the from an uncoupled to coupled state. If very last traces this removed resume all characteristics e.g. respiratory control, ATP-Pi exchange and DNP-stimulated ATPase lack endogenous Mg-requiring ATPase. Some system also altered. changes in many biochemical parameters paralleled ultrastructure mitochondria. nature freshly is that DNP- not detergent-induced mechanism which mitochondrial exerts its action on different DNP. differences observed parameters, including ultrastructure, native recoupled mitochondria, suggest effect allosteric nature. physiologic role described discussed.
