摘要: We aimed to assess physician knowledge for 2009 guidelines established by the American Academy of Neurology and Epilepsy Society regarding issues related pregnancy women with epilepsy. A questionnaire was developed distributed all neurologists neurology residents practicing in a large Canadian health region serving population 1.4 million. Descriptive statistics were obtained percentage correct responses calculated. Forty-five physicians completed survey (response rate = 83.3%), median score 50%. Residents more likely (93.3%) state that this information important their practice than staff (40.0%). Overall outcomes associated specific AEDs poor; less half correctly indicated which adverse majority drug-related questions. recommend multifaceted, interactive implementation strategies increasing guideline contents.
