摘要: IL1 gene complex has been implicated in the etiology of schizophrenia. To assess whether is associated with susceptibility to schizophrenia Polish population we conducted family-based study. Functional polymorphisms from IL1A (rs1800587, rs17561, rs11677416), IL1B (rs1143634, rs1143643, rs16944, rs4848306, rs1143623, rs1143633, rs1143627) and IL1RN (rs419598, rs315952, rs9005, rs4251961) genes were genotyped 143 trio Statistical analysis was performed using transmission disequilibrium test. We have found a trend toward an association rs1143627, rs1143623 risk Our results show protective effect allele T rs4251961 against also haplotype GAGG (rs1143627, rs4848306) gene, haplotypes: TG (rs315952, rs9005) TT (rs4251961, rs419598) IL1RN. Haplotype CT be After correction for multiple testing associations did not reach significance level. might support theory that interleukin 1 rs4848306 rs4251961, rs419598, rs9005 gene) are involved pathogenesis schizophrenia, however, none level after testing.
