摘要: Salen metal complexes incorporating two chiral BINOL moieties have been synthesized. From a comparison of the parent salen and BINOL−salen X-ray crystal structures, effect portions has examined. In particular, effects intramolecular hydrogen bonding on core structure determined. The bis(naphthoxide) arising from deprotonation found to catalyze asymmetric addition benzyl malonate cyclohexenone in up 90% ee.
