摘要: Minimally invasive surgery in infants requires great experience and highly specialised skills. However, most paediatric surgical departments, the number of patients requiring such is usually small personal surgeon limited. An experimental setting with animals could improve these training conditions if it adequately simulates underlying situation conveys beneficial experiences. The authors implemented an endosurgical model New Zealand white rabbits. mean body weight was 3.3 (range 2.9–3.5) kg. abdominal cavity had a volume about 580 ml thoracic 250 ml, comparable those newborn baby. Several relevant techniques were established (gastrostomy, colostomy, gut biopsies, lung anastomosis oesophagus). Overall, rabbit served to refine technical skills operative experience. In departments specific focus on endosurgery cavities, this help introduce new add valuable educational strategies.
