摘要: In the last decade, large-scale mass spectrometry-based phosphoproteomic studies of receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs) have generated a compendium signalling networks that are activated downstream these receptors. this article, brief summary previous on epidermal growth factor (EGFR) will be presented together with perspective importance for field to keep pace new advances in RTK biology. Using examples drawn primarily from EGFR, c-Met and Flt3 receptors, areas biology which greatly benefit power phosphoproteomics discussed, including (a) validating oncogenic mutants identified cancer genome sequencing efforts, (b) spatial (c) understanding crosstalk co-activation between members superfamily.
