摘要: Abstract In this research, the electromagnetic stirring (EMS) process was used to produce semi-solid slurry with globular structure from cast A356 aluminum alloy. Then forged in a die, which named rheoforging process. Utilizing multidirectional forging (MDF), effect of severe plastic deformation on microstructure and mechanical properties alloy dendritic states investigated. Shear punch, micro- macro-hardness tests were study these samples. For metallographic examinations, optical microscope equipped Clemex ® image analyzer software used. Optimum rheoforged specimens achieved deform those three successful passes MDF. The results show that more strain can be imposed respect one. Also, MDF effectively improve strength samples no noticeable change globules morphology
