摘要: Novel poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) and sulfonated PEG (PEG-SO(3)) acrylate copolymers have been prepared characterized to apply as coating blending materials for biomedical applications. The modified surfaces using demonstrated increased hydrophilicity, possibly due the hypothesized reorientation of PEG/PEG-SO(3) chains into water phase. All copolymer less platelet adhesion than control. In addition, on decreased chain length in increases. reduced bacterial significantly level differs depending well media. obtained results attest usefulness these a or additive material improve blood compatibility contacting devices.
