摘要: The pervasive computing environment and the wide network bandwidth provide users more opportunities to utilize remote resources. In this paper, we introduce a high-performance platform enable thin clients access applications in servers. Our system employs compression-friendly model, where all data redundancies are exploited compression viewport. Within also propose unified coding scheme efficiently compress vast-spectral screens. Several mechanisms further proposed improve interactivity reduce consumption system, including adaptive transmission for heterogeneous display devices. Simulations with real demonstrate that our significantly outperforms previous thin-client systems. Especially video playback under moderate- low-bandwidth conditions, can achieve frame update rate 5 times as high counterparts.
