摘要: Formation, stability and annihilation of vacancy clusters produced during irradiation with energetic heavy ions at high temperature have been studied using gold as a model material. The experiments were carried out 400 kV ion accelerator/200 TEM linked facility. In-situ observation Xe+ or Ar+ irradiations temperatures between 290 670 K reveals instantaneous formation defect clusters. These include loops stacking fault tetrahedra (SFT) some unresolved defects dot contrast. At lower the tend to form in groups, reflecting subcascade structure, while 570 K, ungrouped are dominant. Both SFT considerably shorter lifetimes than absence irradiation. Moreover, lifetime spectrum has two components; long component is related SFT, usually lifetimes. By interrupting annihilate process components. Since survive longer, SFT/loop ratio history dependent.
