摘要: The credit for the discovery of prostaglandins belongs to Swedish scientist U. S. von Euler. Other scientists had observed pharmacological effects with semen and prostatic extracts that can now, hindsight, be attributed presence prostaglandins. It was Euler, however, who established beyond doubt active principle, which he named prostaglandin, a completely new group naturally occurring substances.
