摘要: Tumoren der Nasenhohle oder nasalen Sinus konnen verschiedenen zellularen Ursprungs sei. Trotz dieser Unterschiede in Histopathologie fuhren sie zu klinisch recht ahnlichen Bildern und werden mit identischen Therapieprotokollen behandelt, unabhangig vom Zelltyp. Histologisch lassen sich jedoch Adenokarzinome anaplastische Karzinome Nasenschleimhaut, Plattenepithelkarzinome des Plattenepithels Sarkome (Fibrosarkome, Chondrosarkome, Osteosarkome) unterscheiden. Anhand Histogenese geringfugige Prognose feststellen. Epitheliale sind einer medianen Uberlebenszeit von 9–13 Monaten assoziiert, wahrend Hunde Fibrosarkomen eine durchschnittliche bis zwei Jahren zeigen. Lymphome haufigste Tumor bei Katzen (Kap. 6), selten Hunden. anderen Spezies selten, Ausnahme bildet retrovirusinduzierte enzootische Nasentumor (ENT) Schafs.
