摘要: Nanotechnology is expected to revolutionize existing drug delivery. Many nanostructured systems have been employed for delivery and yielded some promising results. Solid lipid nanoparticles (SLN) looked at as a potential carrier system since last two decades. SLN do not show biotoxicity they are prepared from physiological lipids. especially useful in can enhance the absorption of drugs improves bioavailability both hydrophilic lipophilic drugs. This paper presents an overview about various classes SLN, comparison with available systems, different ways production, vivo fate biodistribution applications SLN. Besides, aspects stability, hurdles strategies manufacturing clinical translation also discussed.
