Cytological and Ultrastructural Aspects of Dimorphism

摘要: Until the late 1960s, when electron microscope became widely available to mycologist, methods of light microscopy were used for study dimorphic fungi. Such studies employed fixed cellular suspensions or slide cultures observe transition from one growth form other. However, these confined gross observations process due resolution limitations instrument. Nevertheless, must be impressed with careful attention given subject by various investigators, since many their findings have been subsequently confirmed more recent using microscope.
