摘要: Positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) measurements were performed for blends of polyacrylamide (PAM) poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) poly(dimethylacrylamide) (PDMAM) PEG. The samples prepared by codissolution in a concentration range 0–100 wt % thermal behavior, characterized DSC measurements, showed similar variations the glass-transition temperatures (Tg's) with PEG two systems. Pure PAM PDMAM presented Tg's 188 111 °C, respectively. A relatively small nearly linearly decreasing Tg was observed systems 20–80 crystals present all blend compositions, no melting point depression observed. results pointed to partial miscibility blends. degree crystallinity increased increasing PDMAM/PEG ortho-positronium (τ3) both However, parameter formation probability (I3) decreased concentration. product τI3, which proportional total free volume fraction, approximately constant This result may be interpreted as consequence more heterogeneous structure Scanning electron microscopy micrographs 40 80 provided evidence regions associated crystallites. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
