摘要: Neuropathic pain is a chronic secondary condition, which consequence of peripheral or central nervous (somatosensory) system lesions diseases. It devastating affects around 7% the general population. Numerous etiological factors contribute to development neuropathic pain. can originate from part such as in case trigeminal postherpetic neuralgia, nerve injury, painful polyneuropathies, radiculopathies. Central develop result spinal cord brain stroke, multiple sclerosis. As first-line pharmacological treatment options, tricyclic antidepressants, serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors, and gabapentinoids are recommended. In carbamazepine oxcarbazepine first-choice drugs. drug-refractory cases, interventional, physical, psychological therapies available. This review was structured based on PubMed search papers published field 2010 until May 2019.
